Everyone Needs Someone

People need people and friends need friends
And we all need love for a full life depends

But just in knowing that someone cares

For only the knowledge that we're understood
Gives us a lift and lightens our mood,
And we rob ourselves of life's greatest need

The outstretched hand reaching to find

pennies from heaven
Found a penny today
laying on the ground
but its not just a penny
this little coin I found

Pennies come from heaven
that's what I was always told
They say angels toss them down
oh, how I love this story

They say when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down
sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of a frown

So, don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue
It may be a penny from Heaven
That your Mum & Dad tossed to you

I thought I saw your face today, in the sparkle of the morning sun.
And then I heard the angel say, 'Their work on earth is done.'

I thought I heard your voice today, then laugh your hearty laugh.
And then I heard the angel say, 'There's peace dear one at last.'

I thought I felt your touch today, in the breeze that rustled by.
And then I heard the angel say, 'The spirit never dies.'

I thought I saw my broken heart, in the crescent of the moon.
And then I heard the angel say, 'The Lord is coming soon.'

I thought that you had left me, for the stars so far above.

There are angels in the Heavens,

Just waiting to be found.

So when you are feeling lonely

Or just a little blue,

Open your eyes to see the angels,

They are there, waiting for you.

Don't forget about these angels

During all of your good times too,

For they like to share your happiness

And the joys that come to you.



They will wrap their wings around you,

To protect and guide you through
